Consultations for Caregivers & Care Teams

You don't have to figure this out on your own.

When should I get help?

Families often reach out when the changes they're seeing, in memory, personality, judgment, or behavior, begin to reshape daily life in ways they never expected. A parent who was always steady is now anxious or suspicious. A spouse reacts in ways that feel unfamiliar. Decisions become harder, and the path forward less clear.

You may find yourself reacting in ways you never thought you would: correcting, arguing, second-guessing yourself, and wondering why nothing seems to help.

I know that place well. And I know how much can change once you begin to understand what is actually happening and why. When we make sense of the changes together, new and more effective ways of responding begin to open up, often bringing a sense of relief to everyone involved.

Because understanding changes everything

For Family Caregivers

Whether you are early in the journey or well into it, our conversations focus on what will be most helpful for you and for the person you're caring for right now.

Caregiving rarely follows a neat path. Together, we can talk through what you're seeing, what feels hardest, and what might make daily life more manageable.

My role is to offer clear information, practical suggestions, and steady support so that your journey becomes just a little more manageable. Most caregivers leave our conversations feeling more confident, more capable, and far less alone.

For Professional Care Teams

I also consult with senior living communities, home care agencies, and staff teams who want thoughtful guidance around specific residents or their overall dementia-care approach.

These consultations help staff better understand what they are seeing, respond more effectively, and create environments that feel calmer and more supportive for everyone involved: residents, families, and staff alike.

What Caregivers Say

"Her suggestions are so practical that surviving this almost sounds doable."
"What you gave us was liberating... our connection to you made our experience easier and helped me grow into a knowledgeable and capable caretaker."
"You helped keep us half-sane and made it possible for us to work with my sister in ways that made her transition easier."
"I am not sure that I could have cared for her in the way I did without your help. I will always appreciate you for the important work you do."

Scheduling a Consultation

Consultations are available by phone or Zoom, and I am happy to accommodate different time zones and include multiple family members. Consultations are billed by the hour, and payment can be made via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. If you'd like to talk about ongoing support or multiple sessions, we can figure out what works best for you.
